Generic name: Gentamicin injection 10%

Composition: Each ml contains Gentamicin sulfate 100 mg.

Indication: Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that has antibacterial effects on gastrointestinal and respiratory tract infections caused by various Gram-negative bacteria (such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Proteus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pasteurella, Salmonella, etc.), Gram-negative bacteria and Staphylococcus aureus (including β-lactamase-producing strains).

Dosage and Administration:

• Cattle, Sheep, and Goats: 2 mg per kg of body weight (IM or IV once daily).
• Swine: 5 mg per kg of body weight (IM once daily).
• Horses: 6.6 mg per kg of body weight (IV every 24 hours).
• Dogs and Cats: 4-6 mg per kg of body weight (IM or SC every 24 hours).
• Poultry: 5-10 mg per kg of body weight (IM or via drinking water).

Precautions:

1. Contraindicated in animals allergic to gentamicin.
2. Use with caution in animals with impaired kidney or liver function.
3. Follow instructions carefully to avoid side effects.
4. Store in a cool, dry place away from light and children.

Withdrawal Period: Meat: Cattle, sheep and swine (40 days), Poultry (7 days).

Storage: Avoid light, keep under 20~25 ºC in dark place.

Shelf life: 2 years
